TEEN BOYS’ GROUP – Ages 12-14

Facilitated by young adult adoptee, this group will offer camaraderie, fun, recreational activities and opportunities for facilitated conversation and support around issues particular to adoption and this age group.

TEENS TALK ABOUT THEMSELVES
PARC is excited to offer a new opportunity for teens to talk about themselves! This spring, PARC will be producing a new podcast series in which 2 teens will host a 10-15 minute show talking about what it's like to grow up adopted in today's world. Each show will address a topic related to adoption. This series will run for 6 weeks beginning in February.

CHILDRENS' GROUPS

Using WISE Up about Adoption (developed by Center for Adoption Support and Education in Baltimore) materials as well as other materials and medium, PARC offers a group for children grades K-5 to help them address their friends’ and peers’ questions about adoption and being adopted. This group has been our most consistently popular group and we offer it each season in various locations.

SPRING 2012 GROUP:
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18 or FEBRUARY 25, 9:30AM-12 noon

Locations determined by enrollment

Fee: $90 per child (includes WISE Up book and other materials, snack)

Facilitated Discussion Group for Parents optional.
