Procedure to Become a Foster Parent of a Refugee
- Attend an orientation session and successfully complete 12 hours of training
- Complete LSS Foster Home and Licensing applications

- Pass local record and medical clearances
- Participate in a home study
- Allow LSS reasonable access to the home to verify compliance to state licensing
