LSS receives a combination of funding to offer a wide variety of services to refugees and immigrants. The basic services for refugees include:
• Resettlement
• Case management
• Health Case management
• Employment Services
• English for Speakers of other Languages
In addition LSS offers:
• Language interpretation and translation services through LanguageBank
• Vocational Training Services
• Immigration Legal Assistance
• Agricultural Opportunities
Special grants vary from year to year but allow additional services such as:
• Funding for a volunteer program in NH
• Citizenship and democracy education classes in MA
• Driving lessons for Refugees in NH and MA
• Refugee youth assistance in MA
• Assistance to older Refugees in MA
• Domestic violence prevention in MA
