Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is a full service adoption agency whose purpose is to facilitate the creation of "forever families" for parents and children.  LSS has a 140 year history of serving children in need.  Today, we offer both domestic and international adoption options.

Whether we coordinate your adoption from start to finish or work with another agency of your choice, we commit fully to be your primary adoption resource for a lifetime. In the adoption field, our experience and service to families are unmatched.

The LSS Adoption program is licensed in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Through LAN (the national Lutheran Adoption Network), and many other partner agencies, we are able to facilitate international adoption for families in all fifty states.  LSS families have adopted from China, Kazakhstan, Colombia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, India, Russia, South Korea, the Phillipines, Vietnam and many others.

Our Rocky Hill, Connecticut, office has oversight for international adoption.  LSS itself has international adoption agreements in place with China and Ukraine.

Spence-Chapin, Dillion International, Friends in Adoption, Holt International, WACAP, LAN and many others --enable us to offer you access to many programs offering a range of international and domestic adoption options.
