POST-ADOPTION RESOURCE CENTER

Through the Post Adoption Resource Center (PARC), LSS offers an array of programs and services geared to the unique joys and challenges of adoption and adoptive family life. Understanding that adoption is a lifelong journey, the PARC serves families and children of all faiths and backgrounds, from infancy through adulthood. Services include counseling, educational programs for parents and children, peer support for children and teens, adoptee mentorship programs, a monthly topic-focused "Adoption Talk" series, cultural programs and events, and recreational and social activities for adults, children and families.

In addition, the PARC staff, many of whom are adoptive parents and adoptees themselves, are recognized for expertise in providing training and consultation on adoption-related issues to schools, human services professionals and other community organizations.
