Meet Lutheran Social Services’ Foster Parents: Roxann and Jack Freak!

Roxann and Jack Freak have been foster parents since 2003. They were originally licensed through DCYF before transferring their license to LSS in 2009 in order to provide ISO level foster care. The family has fostered numerous children, adopted one son from Ethiopia and between the two of them, have raised five biological children.

Roxann and Jack are currently fostering a young boy who has been with them since October. Roxann and Jack provide a calm, structured and positive atmosphere that has been a great fit for their foster son. This young boy has made remarkable progress in their home and he recently wrote a book called, “My Very Very Very Awesome Life.” Roxann and Jack are very active in their church and this large support system has greatly benefitted their foster son. Lutheran Social Services is thankful to have Roxann and Jack on our foster parent team and congratulate them on receiving the Lutheran Social Services Foster Parents of the Month Award!
