The Evan B. Donaldson Institute has released their report: Keeping the Promise: The Critical Need for Post-Adoption Services to Enable Children and Families to Succeed. An extensive examination of adoptive families in the United States, concludes that too many are not receiving the essential services they need, and calls for a reshaping of national priorities and resources to develop and provide such services.

Earlier this year, LSS partnered with the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute in New York as well as the Kinship Center in California in the effort to bring to life one of the recommendations from the groundbreaking study the Adoption Institute published last year called "Beyond Culture Camp: Promoting Health Identity Formation in Adoption"

July 31, 2010 - Catalyst Foundation's 2010 Vietnamese Culture Camp
The Vietnamese Culture Camp is celebrating it's 10-year anniversary! As part of the celebration, our director of Adoption Services, Lynn Gabbard, will be speaking in a Parent Session on the topic of "After Culture Camp...Now What?" Lynn will be addressing the aftermath of the culture camp experience. She will also discuss what more can be done after culture camp.
