It is with great respect that we write this letter to you. In our wildest dreams, we couldn't begin to imagine the difficult decision you have in front of you. To try and find the right family to love and nurture the life that is inside of you must be overwhelming for anyone. Hopefully after reading our profile and getting to know us a little better your search and ours will come to a happy ending.
This is not just another chapter in our lives or yours, but the hope for a new beginning for all of us. We are excited to move into the next phase of our lives, as I'm sure you are too. We are honored that you would consider us as parents for your bundle of joy, and thank you for taking the time to get to know us.
Our Story
We are a loving, committed couple who have been married since 2001. Each of us feels the other is our best friend and confidante, a partner to love and support. When we met 11 years ago, we enjoyed many of the same things - singing karaoke, camping out at Steve’s boat down by the shore, going on vacations together – anywhere there were palm trees and blue water, and just enjoying each other’s company.
When we married in 2001, we decided to wait a few years to start a family. When we decided it was time to try to conceive, we went through several years of unsuccessful attempts and several miscarriages. We have been through many good times and bad over the years, which has made us the strong couple we are today.
We have put a lot of effort into building a solid, loving relationship, good careers, and a comfortable home that we can enjoy with family and friends. Today we enjoy a lot of the same things we did when we met. Instead of going out to sing karaoke, we have fun playing rock band. Instead of camping out at the boat, we enjoy hanging by our pool with our family and friends. Vicky loves to landscape the front yard and Steve enjoys building things and tooling around with his hammer and saw. We love to barbeque, ride our bikes, and vacation at least once a year. In the winter, we are more home bodies, but enjoy playing cards with our friends a few times a month. Everyone brings their children and it is our way of keeping in touch.
One of Vicky’s favorite hobbies is photography. She fell in love with it when she was younger, since then it has blossomed into surrounding our home with pictures of friends and family that gives our home a very warm feeling. Steve’s favorite hobby is playing golf. He might not be very good, but he has fun – and after all, that is what life is all about.
We both have wonderful, supportive families that cannot wait to welcome another baby in the family. Your baby will be surrounded by loving, caring people.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share a little about ourselves with you. It is difficult to know exactly what to say except that we have great respect and admiration for you. We hope you have gotten a little glimpse into whom we are and the loving environment that we will provide for a child, and how much they will always be loved and treasured as the true gift he or she is to us. While we are blessed in many ways, a child will complete our family. We promise to love your child unconditionally and provide a safe environment full of every opportunity to be who they want to be. Whatever your decision, we wish you well and pray for your baby’s safe arrival.
