Regional

Position:  Volunteer Program Coordinator
Location:  Wellesley, MA
Description:  The LSS Volunteer Program Coordinator (VPC) serves as a member of the LSS Foundation staff with specific responsibility to develop and administer a formal LSS Volunteer Program.  The VPC will assess the current status of the widely divergent volunteer efforts within LSS, quantify those findings, and develop a strategic plan that will include recruiting, training and supporting volunteers and growing the program.  Bachlor's degree preferred.  Five years of experience working with volunteers required.  The ability to travel required.

Position: Team Leader FT
Location: Auburn and Westbrook Maine
Description: The Team Leader provides leadership to a team of direct care workers who provide services for people with mental illness. The Team Leader is responsible for day-to-day management of clinical, staffing and general administrative functions for the team. Team Leaders interact with regulatory and funding agencies to assure compliance and with the local community to assist clients in integrating fully into the community.
 
Position: DSP FT/PT/Per Diem
Location: Auburn and Westbrook
Description: As the result of our continued growth and expansion, Lutheran Social Services is currently seeking individuals to work with Developmentally Disabled adults in their homes, and in the community. Position: Daily Living Support Coach
Location: Auburn
Description: Participates as a team member in the evaluation and assessment of the consumer's needs.  Follows consumer's treatment plan and monitors progress toward achievement of goals.  Assesses and reports to the Team Leader and Program Manager changes in the functioning of the consumer that may impact the treatment plan.  Demonstrates patience, caring, compassion and sensitivity toward consumers.  Seeks additional consultation and/or supervision when need and attends and participates in supervisory sessions and staff meetings as well as four hours of clinical supervision each month.
