What does LSS do?
LSS provides confidential immigration legal services to children under 21, including:
• Pro bono legal advice and representation;
• English as a Second Language classes and educational programs;
• Referrals to community-based organizations.
How does the legal program assist children?
Our attorneys meet intensively with children to provide them with legal advice and representation in their immigration case. This often involves assisting the client to apply for immigration relief. Our program also makes referrals to relevant social service providers when the child needs other social service support.
