Position: Direct Support Worker
Location: Lewiston/Auburn, Scarborough (4 Positions), Gray & Windham.

Position: Direct Support Worker - Deaf Services
Location: Gorham, Westbrook, Standish (2 Positions).
Description: New Deaf Services Programs opening in Gorham have created a large number of job opportunities. Provides support to Deaf or Hard of Hearing consumers in a variety of residential program and community based settings. We offer full-time, part-time and per-diem shifts. Residential Support Worker
Location: Auburn
Description: These direct care positions provide assistance with daily housekeeping, medication administration and other aspects of personal care to residents. Responsible for accurate Implementation and documentation of all care/rehabilitation plans to residents. Duties require significant levels of assistance with all areas of activities of daily living including hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, diet/nutrition management, feeding, budgeting, & personal safety skills. Must be able to demonstrate consistency, set limits appropriately and deal with crisis situations.


Position: Team Leader
Location: Auburn & Westbrook
Description: The Team Leader provides leadership to a team of direct care workers who provide services for people with mental illness in their own homes to assure that service to consumers is in line with LSS's mission. The Team Leader is responsible for day-to-day management of clinical, staffing and general administrative functions for the team.  Team Leaders interact with regulatory and funding agencies to assure compliance and with the local community to assist clients in integrating fully into the community.

Position: Residential Support Worker - MHRT
Location: Portland
MHRT certification required.  These direct care positions provide assistance with daily housekeeping, medication administration and other aspects of personal care to residents. Position: Office Manager
Location: Auburn

Provides leadership to office support team and assures smooth day to day operation of the office facilities.  Develops, manages and coordinates staff training and development activities including new employee orientation/enrollment and training staff in areas of expertise.  Payroll and benefits enrollment and processing including coordination of local annual enrollment activities.  Oversight and maintenance of office operations such as computers, a/v equipment, phone system, etc. including coordination of purchase, set up and ongoing maintenance.  Direct supervision of clerical staff including coordination of special projects and front desk coverage.  Assigning tasks as needed and supervision of the janitorial staff.  Ensures that confidentiality and security is maintained at all times and in accordance with agency, licensing and funding sources. 


Position: Daily Living support Coach
Location: Auburn
Participates as a team member in the evaluation and assessment of the consumer's needs.  Shares responsibility for consumer's services.  Assists consumer with planning daily activities depending upon the individual needs and desires of the consumer. Follows consumer's ISSP (treatment plan) and monitors progress toward achievement of goals.  Responds effectively to crises. Structures and organizes job responsibilities with minimal supervision.          Demonstrates patience, caring, compassion and sensitivity toward consumers. High level of dependability including follow-through of assigned tasks.

Description:  The Advocate provides a clean, safe and nurturing environment that will assist adolescents acquire the skills necessary to successfully transition to a less restrictive setting or potentially leading to their living independently.  The Advocate will organize and facilitate all stages of the treatment process, by implementing interventions that assure client goals are met.  The Advocate plays a key role in coordinating all of the care for the adolescent and her/his family. 

 

Position: Awake Overnight Direct Care Worker FT
Programs: Florence House Worcester and Greentree Girls Program Arlington
Description: The Awake Overnight Direct Care Staff will participate in all stages of the treatment process by implementing interventions that assure client goals are met.  They will also provide a clean, safe, and nurturing environment that will assist clients with the skills necessary to succeed.

Position: Receptionist FT
Program: Wellesley Administrative Office
Description: The Receptionist will be responsible for providing office and clerical services in order to ensure that office functions are effective and efficient.  Additionally, the Receptionist will provide part time support to the Chief Operating Officer of the corporation.


Position: Case Worker PT
Program: Refugee Services Worcester
Description:  The Case Worker will manage the refugee resettlement process.  Must be able to interpret and translate Karen/Burmese language.  Maintain files, case notes, and documentation. Ability to work flexible hours.

Position: Registered Nurse Per Diem
Program: Emmanuel House Residence - Brockton
Description: The Registered Nurse will assess residents for need of LMA.  Maintain documentation of service plans, resident records, medication orders from authorized prescribers, and medication administration.  The Registered Nurse will participate in service plan reviews and conduct resident screenings, visits, and assessments.  Must have current R.N. license in Massachusetts in good standing.  Experience preferred in clinical setting with the elderly.  The ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Position: Maintenance Director FT
Program: Lutheran Healthcare Center of Worcester
Description: Our center will be undergoing a major renovation and expansion project in 2009.  The Maintenance Director manages and directs the maintenance operations.  The Maintenance Director works closely with the General Contractor and various sub contractors during the construction process.  Must possess a strong working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.  Previous long-term care maintenance experience required.

Position: Personal Care Support Worker 
Location: Alton, Ashland, Belmont, Bow, Concord, Conway, Gilford, Hampton, Jaffrey, Keene, Laconia, Manchester, North Walpole, Plaistow, Portsmouth, Wolfeboro.
Program: Smart Care
Description: Successful candidates will be responsible for providing consumer-directed care services to an elder or chronically ill individual in their home and community.  May include housekeeping, helping with meals, transportation and/or personal care. Immediate Per Diem position.

Description: O
versees the provision of in-home support services to over 400 older adults and persons with chronic illness throughout New Hampshire.  Provides philosophical and practical leadership in the design and implementation of services, and demonstrates commitment to community based and consumer directed services.  Responsible for the day to day operation of the program and its services, including, provision of services, hiring and supervision of staff, budget preparation and monitoring, contract management, promotion of the program to constituents and development of new programs within the service line.

Description: Teaches with curriculum planning, supervision, and teaching of children or adults in a classroom setting; assists in presenting and reinforcing learning concepts.


Position: Family Worker
Location: Antrim
Program: Antrim Girls Shelter

Description: Defines assessments of a family's viability for involvement in resident's treatment.  Thorough psycho-social assessments of family system for treatment planning. Actively participates in a team management environment in a fast paced, staff secure, residential treatment facility.  Works a varied schedule that is designed to maximize communication and interaction with families, including days, evenings and weekends and provides on-call support for crisis.  Communicates with families and foster families to ensure the maximum level of family support and involvement in the resident's treatment.

Position: Receptionist
Location: Concord

Half-time is spent doing receptionist duties and the other half is spent doing administrative duties.  Successful candidate will be responsible for answering phones, opening mail/mail distribution, collecting in preparation of bi-weekly payroll, ordering supplies and assisting Office Manager with other assigned duties. Must have exceptional customer services and phone skills in addition to excellent PC skills.
